Yesterday, I was cleaning up and I noticed that Max had a lot of pairs of shoes by the back door.  In trying to decide which shoes to keep and which to move, I saw that his latest pair of Vans are size 8.5.  That is the size I wear.  I was able to put his shoes on without a problem.  Since Vans run narrow, they were a bit tight but Max is 12 years old and it won’t be long before his shoes are too big for me.
