Baby Weezy has been leaking for about 5 days. It was clear and she didn’t show any
signs of discomfort or irritability at first. On Sunday, Eloise began to seriously
stream green and yellow out of her nose; so much so that we didn’t go to church for
fear of the wrath of other parents. Monday brought a fever and Tuesday the eye goop
made its appearance. Wednesday when I got home, Toby handed me the baby and said,
‘Take her to the doctor’.

I got to the clinic office 15 minutes before it closed (whew!). There was no one else
there, and we went right in. The very nice doctor took a look in her ears and declared
that she had an ear infection in her right ear. We got the prescription filled before
Rite-Aid closed that night and all in all I have to say that it was one of the easiest
doctor visits that I have had. I don’t hope for more doctor visits, but if I have
to have them, they should all be like last night.

Now Toby just needs to figure out how to put eye drops in a wiggly Weezy during the
day when I am not able to help.
