On Monday, I was making my lunch before work and I grabbed a tube of yogurt (cleverly marketed as ‘Go-gurt’).  I reached into the box and instead of pulling the expected tube of Scooby-Doo yogurt, a Trader Joe’s branded yogurt came out.  In the past, we have had Trader Joe’s yogurt, so it didn’t surprise me to see it.  Since the moving of the refrigerator, the yogurt must have been consolidated into a single box, no big deal.

At lunch time, I opened the yogurt tube and took a big mouthful.  A big mouthful of grainy, chunky, foul-tasting, used-to-be yogurt.  I quickly expelled the guck from my mouth.  Looking at the expiration date on the packaging, I found that the yogurt expired in December, 2005.  Yikes!  Better me than Toby, I guess…
