Toby has taken her Ambien and is quickly headed off to la-la land.
Cervadil is in place, so now it is a waiting game.
Toby is 1 cm dialated and 85% effaced, which is where she was 2 weeks ago at her last OB appointment. She is probably going to get Cervadil to move her cervix along.
Baby ETA : tomorrow morning sometime, since Cervadil effectiveness peaks about 6 hours after application.
Toby has been hooked up to the baby monitor. The baby’s heart rate is at 120-150 which the nurse says is good news. Toby has her IV in and Dr. Green is being updated. They ask a lot of questions like if Toby has a fake eyeball.
We’re headed to Cottage Hospital within the hour for me to be induced. So baby may be born on his/her actual due date – tomorrow the 20th! Appreciating your prayers…
Gran and GranDon travel in style in their rolling coach. In the past they had a smaller rig that fit very nicely into our back area. Since their last trip, they have the new rig (pictured below) that I was concerned might be too big for the area. I measured it out at 28 feet from the house to the street. The rig is 27 feet long and fits nearly perfectly.
There is electrical and water hookups in the area, so they are completely at home in the motor home.
Also, the kids love to spend time in the motor home to visit with the 2 cats that travel with the grandparents. Having the motor home makes thing very easy.
